All Weather Guarantee

If your flight is cancelled due to weather, you will be notified by Team BLADE via email, text, phone or in-app notification; BLADE will provide complimentary chauffeur-driven vehicles for customers scheduled to fly from New York City to all East End of Long Island locations. All you need to do is get to the BLADE Lounge (499 East 34th Street) at the proposed time and once there, a Team BLADE member will escort you to your waiting vehicle and you will be on your way. Your BLADE account will be credited the full amount you paid for the seat or crowdsourced flight. This credit can be used towards future BLADE travel.

Please note: that in the case of cancelled flights, car departure times may differ than your original flight time. You also will be in a car with other passengers. This guarantee is only valid Thursdays and Fridays between Memorial Day and Labor Day, on Eastbound flights.

BLADEone Flights

There might be an instance where helicopters cannot fly but BLADEone can. In the event that the helicopter leg of the trip is grounded due to poor weather, BLADE, through our Weather Guarantee partner will provide transportation to the jet (to or from Westchester Airport). When this occurs, a member of the BLADE Customer Experience team will be in contact with you to relay the car departure time.

Any weather calls will be made by 11pm the evening before your flight*.

Please note: that this guarantee only goes into effect if the jet flight from Westchester to Miami is not cancelled due to the inclement weather. You will be in the vehicle with other passengers from your flight.*

If a BLADEone flight is cancelled due to weather, passengers will receive a refund of their fare. Please reference the Operator-Participant Agreement for additional information.
